Meet my Shadow Spread
Our Shadow is the part of ourselves we want to hide. By facing our shadow with love and understanding, we can begin to understand ourselves on a much deeper level. I believe this could help us move forward with more grace. Perhaps you feel that life is out of control, but you don’t know how to change it? Perhaps you feel you have reached a place in your life where you are in control, but perhaps something is also missing. Perhaps what is missing is a deeper understanding of your shadow? I enjoy doing shadow work. I believe it is better to face your shadow in your own private space than being unaware of your shadow and having your shadow mirrored back to you through painful situations.
Shuffle and cut the deck, while asking to meet your Shadow to develop self-awareness while also achieving healing and resolution.

Be gentle to yourself while doing this spread. The good news is, once you see a pattern, a fear, or a block, you can move past it. I looked at my cards several times and each time I saw new aspects of my shadow popping up in the tarot cards. I also saw I had some limiting beliefs around success and once I saw it, I asked myself: How does it serve me to believe this about myself? Where does this come from? This way, I have a better chance of developing positive beliefs that also are helpful. Sometimes a positive belief is not helpful. For example, many healers want to help everyone. This is a positive belief, but trying to help everyone can take a huge toll on a person. Similarly, a negative belief can be helpful. Perhaps the person is afraid of failing so they work extremely hard to become successful. This is how a negative belief can help the seeker, however, the best thing is to be motivated to succeeding due to enjoying/loving what you are doing, not just escaping a fear. See the difference?
