The Meaning Of The World Tarot Card In A Love Reading

Is The World A Good Card To Get In A Question About Your Love Life?

Yes, it is, but not without its challenges. When the World denotes your love life it means the sun shines on you. The only negative thing with the World is that it can be hard to think of what else there is to aim for. You might stop dreaming because you feel life has given you everything you could wish for. The World signifies love where two people care deeply for each other. The love is just as strong in sickness as in health. The World in a love reading also means your relationship is attracting jealousy from the outside, so protect your relationship with strong boundaries.

In a love reading the World signifies a partner who is just as strong as you, or perhaps even a bit stronger. This might bring out some vulnerable feelings in you, and you must learn to be balanced and not pay into your fears. Work on your self-confidence. A stronger self-confidence equals a better relationship when it comes to the World.

Learn the traditional meaning of The World tarot card here.

If you are single and looking for love, the World will show up to tell you to get your life in order. Create abundance and security for yourself. A very strong and charismatic person is about to enter into your life. This person will push your buttons and teach you about how to be a better person. The World tarot card challenges you to be the best you can be; in a question about your love life, this translates into an initiation phase which can be painful as it pushes the seeker to step up. If the seeker is unable to step up due to fear of failure it can result in unresolved conflicts within the relationship. As a result, the relationship will take long before it is established, or it will fall apart. In a long-term relationship, the World asks the seeker to be more and to think bigger. Get rid of the comfort zone as an initiation has begun. How long this initiation will take depends on the individual. It depends on how willing the seeker is to evolve within the relationship.

The lesson of the World tarot card is simple: When you no longer need to be in a relationship, you are ready to be in one.

  1. I asked about my boyfriends loyalty in tarot card and the 3rd card indicated the world card what would that mean concerning hus loyalty towards me?

  2. Hi again Inger, sorry for bother you 🙂 so I just tried a “Can I get back with my ex?” and I got:

    1. Situation – 4 cups
    2. Challenge – 3 cups rx
    3. Advice – The world
    4. Likely outcome – 10 cups rx

I saw someone in my tarot community with the same question and same spread, also same combo 10 cups + World but the 10 cups was in no.3 & World was in no.4 and people are saying they can’t get back together since the rls has completed its purpose, there’s nothing more to learn. I don’t know if the meaning changed in my spread since it’s an advice? What do you see? I’m much appreciate your help!

  3. Hi, the world is telling you that you can trust your soul in this instance. The challenge is 3 of cups reversed which speaks of maybe not being able to completely trust this person. Ten of cups reversed says you can reunite, but most likely with a delay, and also, something is disrupting your harmony. Could be other people interference.

  4. Thank you so much Inger! This is such an eye-opening to me. I just started learning tarot not long ago and still struggling with interpreting the meanings diversely.

  6. The world often means the person thinks the world of you. It often shows up when two people meet and feel they have known each other forever, even if they just met.

  7. Hi Inger. I asked if someone I dated for awhile still thought of me or missed me, and if we would reconcile in the future. I got the world, and pulled one more to clarify and received the page of swords. It feels positive to me but just wanted to get your opinion. The world can be read so many ways to me.
